SOMEBODY IS PRAYING FOR YOU

The sermon explored the truth that God never designed us to carry the weight of life alone. Drawing from Romans 8:26-34, the message reminded us that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we do not know what to pray, and that Christ himself stands at the right hand of God making intercession on our behalf. Because of this pattern set by Jesus, we as believers are called to do the same for one another. Intercession is how we get involved in each other's battles without taking God's place in those battles. We help carry the burden — and together, we carry it to God.
